A 14-year-old girl made her debut as a published author last month with a collection of short stories.
Rurika Suzuki, a second-year junior high school student, previously won Shogakukan Inc.’s literary award for elementary school students for three consecutive years. It was the first time the same writer won the Junisai no Bungakusho (Literary award for 12-year-olds) over that number of years.

goosebumpsを取り上げます。gooseはガチョウのことですが、どのような意味になるのでしょうか。『ライトハウス英和辞典』（第5版 研究社）で調べると「（複）（主に米）鳥肌（寒さ、恐ろしさなどでできる）」とありました。
Merriam-Websterには “a roughness of the skin produced by erection of its papillae especially from cold, fear, or a sudden feeling of excitement” と定義されています。
上記の英和辞典にはbumpの項目に「（道路の）隆起、でこぼこ」と説明されており、でこぼこした様子を表す言葉に、鳥のgooseが合わさることで、あのぶつぶつした鳥肌のことをさすと考えられます。（aqua）
