Kiyotake agrees on move to Sevilla

BERLIN — Japan midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake has reached an agreement to move to Spanish first-division club Sevilla from relegated German side Hanover, a German soccer magazine reported Thursday.

Kiyotake will sign a four-year deal through 2020 with a transfer fee of €6.5 million (\780 million) to move to Sevilla, which won the Europe League for a third straight year to earn a place in the lucrative UEFA Champions League for next season.

The 26-year-old Kiyotake joined Bundesliga side FC Nuremberg from Cerezo Osaka in 2012 before moving to Hanover in the summer of 2014. Kiyotake has scored 17 goals in 117 matches in the Bundesliga.

Hanover was relegated to the second division after finishing last in the recently completed season.
