野田首相が先頭に立って，消費税問題に立ち向かっています。写真の下にpoint manとありますが，「物事の最前線に立つ人，（政治活動の）リーダー」という意味です（『ジーニアス英和大辞典』大修館書店）。進むべき道筋を指さしている（point）している様子が由来なのでしょうか。be on the same pageは「目指すべきものが同じである」という意味のアメリカの表現です。以前このブログにも取り上げましたが，その時は「みんなが同じ方向を向いている」などと訳しています。（Sugiuchi）
