大変遅くなりましたが，Lbow君からの質問に答えます。内容は赤字になっているperson of interestという表現と，We do have a very hot and dangerous situationという表現とは何かというものです。

まずstrong person of interestですが，person of interestで容疑者という意味です。英辞郎on the WEBによると，この表現はsuspectの遠回し表現のようです。 そして今回はperson of interestの前にstrongがあるので，後述のin the slayingと合わせると「殺人の強い疑いのある者」と訳せると思います。

次にWe do have a very hot and dangerous situationですが，ここでのhotは「<状況などが>危険な」という意味があります（『ジーニアス英和辞典』第3版，大修館書店）。
doはhaveを強調しており，dangerousはhotと同様に「危険な」という意味なので，この文は「我々は本当に危険な状況に直面しているのです」、もう少しこなれると、「緊急事態発生です」と言っているのだと考えました。　（ゼミ生 b.m.）
