ユネスコは重要な歴史文書などを認定する世界記憶遺産に中国が申請した旧日本軍による「南京大虐殺」に関する資料を登録したと発表しました。同時に従軍慰安婦に関する資料の登録申請もされていましたが、これは却下されたようです。「南京大虐殺」に関する見解は中国と日本で異なっている部分もあり、日日本政府は「ユネスコの政治利用」と反発しています。歴史認識を巡る日中両政府の摩擦が再燃する可能性があると各メディアが報道しています。
