hand-me-down 復習
“We don't need your hand-me-downs.”
LDOCEには“a piece of clothing which has been used by someone and then given to another person”とあります。
また、調べていくうちに”hand-me up”という表現も見つけたのですが、こちらは” an item that somebody gives to an older member of their family because they no longer use it or because they have bought something better to replace it”(『Oxford Learner’s Dictionaries』)という意味があるそうです。(bookmark)
