Well there’s a word for that in Japanese: “bakakkoii,” a contraction of “baka” (stupid) and “kakkoii” (cool).
「バカッコイイ」とは、「くだらないけれども、成功するとかっこいい」という意味で、特に高校生の間で話題となっているそうです。今回、その「バカッコイイ」という造語が英語では何と表わされているか調べたところ、記事では“stupid-cool”と記載されていました。ちなみに、Urban Dictionaryには“When something is so incredibly moronic it gets five points on the rad meter.”と載っていました。(ninetails)
