見出しのcast long shadowという表現ですが、まずshadowには「影」という意味があります。それが応用されて「影響」という意味になります。そこで「大きな影響を与える」意味になり、トルコにおけるイマーム(imam「導師」)の影響力をこの記事で確認できると思います。(Minnesota)
