　『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第四版、大修館書店）には形容詞形のunderrepresentedが「十分に表現［代表］されていない」とありました。Oxford Living Dictionariesでは動詞形のunder-representが“Provide with insufficient or inadequate representation.”と定義されています。反意語はoverrepresentです。
　辞書の例文としては“women are under-represented at high levels”があげられていました。ほかにも似たような言い方を見つけることができました。be poorly representedというもので、意味は「少数参加している、出席している、進出している」です。反対に「多数参加している、出席している、進出してる」はbe well representedと表現するとありました。(rain)
