Visiting aquariums at night has become popular, with some aquariums offering experiences for adults that are different from those during the day, with a dreamy atmosphere enhanced by effects such as special lighting and aromas. It can be good to visit aquariums after work and enjoy the nice, cool atmosphere.

Shortly after 8 p.m. one day, I visited Sunshine Aquarium in Toshima Ward, Tokyo, with Hajime Nakamura, an aquarium coordinator. The aquarium is located at the top of a high-rise building.

　 “lose track of” を取り上げます。trackには競技場のトラックや軌道などの意味がありますが、記事に述べられている “lose track of time”という部分は、時間の経過を忘れるという意味になりそうです。『ライトハウス英和辞典』（第5版　研究社）で引くと、 “lose track of …” で「…の跡を見失う、…を忘れる、…との連絡を絶つ」とありました。連絡を取り続けてきた跡が無くなるという発想から、連絡を絶つという意味にもなるようです。
　LDOCEには “keep/lose track of somebody/something” で “to pay attention to someone or something, so that you know where they are or what is happening to them, or to fail to do this” と定義されており、loseとは逆でコンタクトを取り続ける場合にはkeepを用いることがわかりました。（aqua）
