手持ちの辞書には載っていなかったのですが、『英辞郎on the web』には「つまりこういうことだ、肝心のポイントだ、キモはここだ」とありました。ほかにも似たような表現でWhat's the catch? があります。これは「（良さそうな話だけれど）どんな問題があるんだ？何か裏があるんじゃない？」「話が良すぎて，何か問題があるんじゃないか？」など、疑ったときに使うフレーズです。（Suagr）
