tick all the boxesを見てみます。当たり前のことですが、このフレーズにあるboxesはall theが先行しているので複数形で用いられます。早速Oxford Online Dictionariesでチェックしてみると、これはイギリス英語のフレーズで、‘fulfil all the necessary requirements’と定義されていました。念のため、Collins Dictionariesでも調べてみたところ、‘to satisfy all of the apparent requirements for success’というように記載されていました。訳出するならば、「（成功のために）あらゆる要件を満たす」というように意味を捉えることができるのではないでしょうか。
余談ですが、文章中に出てくるfulfilという単語はイギリス式の綴り方となります。一方で、アメリカ式の綴り方ではfulfillとなります。これもしっかりと区別し、併せて覚えておきたいと思います。
