20周年を迎えるJリーグ，大型補強を敢行したヴィッセル神戸のキャプテン大久保がチーム状況について語りました。大久保は「新加入の選手はすぐにチームにgel出来る」とコメントを残しています。ここでのgelは「（チームに）馴染む」という意味で捉えて問題ありませんが，もともと「集団が一致団結して上手くやる」，「考えが混ざって固まり，明確になる」というニュアンスを持っています（『オーレックス英和辞典』旺文社）。

Vissel Kobe has taken a more proactive stance in the transfer market and has made some impressive signings in preseason, most astutely Takuya Nozawa from Kashima Antlers.
Captain Yoshito Okubo is delighted with the capture of the four-time championship winner.
"[He] will be very influential, he is a very skilled passer and is excellent at setpieces. We have great expectations for that."
As well as Nozawa, Yuzo Tashiro has also arrived from Antlers, while Hideo Hashimoto and Kazumichi Takagi have come over from Gamba Osaka, and Masahiko Inoha has joined after leaving Hajduk Split of Croatia.
Despite the influx of new players, Okubo is confident that they can gel quickly.
"We need to blend well together, and then we will have fun," he said. "As a team, we want to clinch an ACL berth."
