を拾います。 どの単語も馴染みのあるものであったのですが、この記事を読んでいる中で、意味がよく取れなかったため、調べてみました。 調べてみると、この表現は"it remains to be seen"の形をとって慣用句のように扱われていることがわかります。Cambridge Dictionary On-line では、"it is not yet certain" と定義されていました。またMacmillan Dictionary On-line では、"it remains to be seen (whether/ what / how)"と疑問詞が続く形で書かれており、疑問詞と共に用いて、it が形式主語のようになりことがわかります。
