　put a foot wrong という表現に注目しました。『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版，大修館）で調べたところ、「［否定文で］間違いをする」と載っておりました。Oxford Dictionary of English (2th)によると、 "make a mistake in performing an action"と定義されております。上記のとおり、通例否定形を用いる表現です。したがって記事内でもrarelyと一緒に書かれております。
　wrongの代わりにrightを使った表現はないのか気になったので調べてみたところ、not put a foot right で「間違える」という表現を見つけました。(Gomez)
