rustle up

ラーメン屋で初めてミシュランの1つ星を獲得したことで話題になった「蔦」に関する記事がThe Telegraphにありました。
rustleというと「〈葉紙布などが〉かさかさ [さらさら, がさごそ]音を立てる」という意味がまず想起されますが,加えてrustle upで「A〈食事など〉を急いで作る[用意する]」という意味があります(『プログレッシブ英和中辞典』小学館)。ここでは「手早く用意をする」と解釈できます。(Koyamamoto)

Tokyo chef fuels ramen renaissance with his Michelin-starred noodles
The chef and owner of Tsuta, a Japanese ramen restaurant recently crowned with a Michelin star, reveals his journey from fashion to noodles
Yuki Onishi was asleep at home in the quiet Sugamo district of Tokyo on an otherwise uneventful Tuesday evening when his phone rang at 10pm.
The call he received was one every chef dreams of taking: the Michelin Guide was on the line politely informing him that his restaurant had been awarded a star.
… The chef closes up when he runs out of ramen, which is normally around 4pm, before spending a further five hours cleaning up and preparing for the following day’s work.
Pausing to light up a cigarette in between rustling up some noodle soup for the Telegraph to sample, Mr Onishi explained how his ramen journey began 12 years ago when he swapped a successful career in fashion for the world of noodles.
