Small blast near Rome post office damages car, no injuries
A rudimentary explosive device exploded between parked vehicles outside a post office in Rome on Friday, causing no injuries but damaging a car, police said.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the blast likely was "a demonstrative act, showing that it could be done," but apparently not designed to cause major damage, Rome police official Massimo Improta told reporters.
Similar explosions in Rome and other Italian cities in recent years have frequently been blamed on or claimed by anarchists. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

‘Asuka beauties’ back to elegant best after decade of restoration
Elegant women shine again in a spruced-up mural from the ancient Takamatsuzuka tomb’s stone chamber, which will be showcased here from May 13 through May 19.
The brightly colored picture, featuring a group of ladies known as the “Asuka Bijin” (Asuka beauties), is at the final stage of its restoration. It was among a collection of national treasure murals found in 1972 deep within a 1,300-year-old burial mound, which are currently being restored.
Approximately 10 years have been spent removing blackish parts, caused by mold or other factors.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs released the latest image of the mural.
Slabs from the west wall of the stone chamber were removed from the tumulus and stone chamber, which was demolished in 2007 because mold had appeared on the murals.

spring for
ネイティブ通信からです。spring for という表現を紹介しましょう。
現在、とある教材を作成していますが、イラストや写真を使うことが多く、その費用をどう捻出するかということに関するやりとりからです。
I can ask the company about this - I’m sure they will spring for the Vector image.
さて、そのspring。名詞では「春」「ばね」そして「泉」という御三家が思い浮かびます。動詞では「(急にすばやく)跳ぶ」「はねる」「はじく」あたりですね。
ここはforがくっ付いた句動詞です。マクミランは"spring for something： to pay for someone else’s share of something"というわかりやすい説明をしているように、「おごる」ということです。I’ll spring for dinner tonight.という景気の良い人の例文もあります。メールの方では「（費用は）会社ににおごってもらおう、持ってもらおう」という意味になります。

世界中でサイバー攻撃の被害が広がっております。ユーロポールによると，サイバー攻撃は過去に前例のない規模で行われているとのことです。首謀者は判明しておりませんが，攻撃に使われているソフトはアメリカ国家安全保障局で作られていたものの可能性があります。このソフトは，トランプ大統領に反対するハッカー集団により盗まれていたようです。
記事の中で気になった単語は"harbouring"です。『Wisdom英和辞典第三版』(三省堂)には"harbor"で「 …をかくまう; …に隠れ場所を与える」などという意味がありました。被害は国や企業にでております。特に古いOSを使っている企業のリスクが高まっているようです。企業は自社のビジネスを行うための独自のプログラムを構築しているため，OSが更新されても，そのプログラムを動かすOSを使い続けます。そのためサポートが終了したOSがウイルスに感染しやすくなるようです。(Ume)
Cyber-attack: Europol says it was unprecedented in scale
The malware spread quickly on Friday, with medical staff in the UK reportedly seeing computers go down "one by one".
NHS staff shared screenshots of the WannaCry programme, which demanded a payment of $300 (£230) in virtual currency Bitcoin to unlock the files for each computer.
The infections seem to be deployed via a worm - a program that spreads by itself between computers.
Most other malicious programs rely on humans to spread by tricking them into clicking on an attachment harbouring the attack code.
By contrast, once WannaCry is inside an organisation it will hunt down vulnerable machines and infect them too.
