成人式の対象年齢が18歳に引き下げられることで、どのような問題が浮上するのでしょうか。
More than 70 percent of youths and young adults prefer to celebrate their coming-of-age at 20, even though the age of legal adulthood in Japan will be lowered to 18 in April 2022, according to a recent online survey by a Japanese think tank.

今回はthink tankを取り上げます。
『ジーニアス英和辞典』第４版（大修館）には「頭脳集団, シンクタンク, 調査[政策研究]機関」とありました。Merriam Websterには “an institute, corporation, or group organized to study a particular subject (such a policy or a scientific problem) and provide information ideas, and advice” と定義されています。
この表現はカタカナ英語としても使われており、『広辞苑』は「さまざまな領域の専門家を集めて政策や企業戦略の策定・提言などを行う調査研究組織」とあり、コンサルティングサービルやシステム開発を行う組織のことを示す言葉となります。
記事の内容は、18歳に引き下げられると、大学入試や就職で忙しく、成人式に出席しにくい状況になるとありました。しかし、人生で一度しかない式なので、多くの人に出席してほしいと思います。
