Back in Japan!

Dear Dr. Tanabe,

Amphibian and I came back home. I would like to look back our days in Finland.

I think that we have achieved our initial goals of our survey. To be honest, a number of opinions was not enough as a professional survey. But we were able to meet many people and know a lot of views.

In connection with my English skills in conducting the survey, I must admit that there are two salient points that should be fixed immediately. One was about my listening skill. They spoke slowly in their response to me. But when they spoke at natural speed, I could hardly catch them. I really felt that I should listen to more English with a variety of accents.

The other point was about my speaking skill. In fact, some people wanted to ask me to repeat a lot. Simply, they did not get well what I said in the first place. I should have spoken more clearly.

All in all, it was a good experience for me to recognize where I was on the "proficiency ladder" of English.
