千葉県銚子市に大正時代をイメージした電車があるようです。
A retro-themed train inspired by the distinctive style of the Taisho Era (1912-1926) is taking passengers on a trip down memory lane, thanks to the city-based Choshi Electric Railway Co.
The railway operator hopes the special train, which started operating from June 29, will help boost the city’s profile and attract visitors.

今回調べたのはtake a trip down memory laneです。『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第四版,大修館書店）には「追憶の小径をたどる,昔を懐かしく思い出す」とありました。
またLDOCEにはwhen you spend some time remembering the pastと定義されていました。
なぜdownを使うのか疑問に思ったので調べてみました。『ジーニアス英和辞典』に、down には「話し手や話題に上っている場所から離れて」という意味があると記載されていました。このことから、downが用いられたのではないかと思います。(rain)
