今回はliaison / líːəzὰn / 紹介したいと思います。本文から「繋がり」と推測しました。
まず、『ロングマン英英辞典』で調べたところ、“the regular exchange of information between groups of people, especially at work, so that each group knows what the other is doing”と定義されていました。次に『ジーニアス英日辞典』第４版（大修館）によると、「（部隊間の/…との）連絡、接触；（一般に）（組織間の/…との）連絡」とありました。また、「不倫、私通」の意味があります。
ちなみに語源を調べたところ、liaisonにはフランス語などの発音の時の起きる現象の「リエゾン、連音」の意味もあります。(amphibian)
