struggling with symptomsに続きその症状の例がいくつか綴られています。congestionから充血を想像しましたがmucus / mjúːkəs / の意味は予測できませんでした。

Cambridge Dictionary で定義を確認したところ“a thick liquid produced inside the nose and other parts of the body”とあります。『ジーニアス英和辞典』で調べると「（動植物の）粘液」と記載されていました。nasal mucusで「鼻水」です。(Kiwi girl)
