　昨日の裏ゼミで読んだ記事にあったpolitical muckrakerに注目しました。muckrakerの動詞形であるmuckrakeをOxford living dictionaryで調べると“Search out and publicize scandal about famous people.”とあり、日本語で「汚職を暴く」に当たることがわかりました。
　Online etymology dictionaryでmuckrakerをひくと“One who rakes muck”と記載されているように「ふん（汚いもの）をかき集める人」が語源となっています。そこにpoliticalがついた言い方としてインターネットで探してみたところ、「政治家Gメン」がぴったりかと思いました。(flying bird)
