　気になった単語は”aforementioned”です。比較的長い単語ですね。『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版、大修館）を参照すると、「前記の、前述の」「前述の人［こと］」と載っていました。この単語を分解すると、”afore”と”mentioned”に分かれます。
　後者は「言及された」という意味ですが、前者はどうでしょう。同書を参照すると、”before”の古い言い回しで、方言であることがわかりました。よって、「以前に」+「言及された」でその意味になりますね。”afore”が接頭辞の単語は他にいくつかあり、”aforesaid”や”aforethought”はその具体例です。今はそれぞれ、予測できるように、「前記の」「前もって考えた、故意の」です。(Large Lake)
