沖縄のチビチリガマを荒らした容疑で、16歳から19歳の4人の少年が16日に逮捕されました。
NAHA, Okinawa Prefecture--Four teenagers were arrested on Sept. 16 on suspicion of vandalizing a cave that serves as a memorial for civilians who committed mass suicide during the 1945 Battle of Okinawa.
Police said the boys, aged 16 to 19, have admitted to the allegations. The suspects told police they decided to visit the Chibichiri cave in the village of Yomitan on a “dare” and out of a sense of curiosity about the “haunted place.”
