ピカチュウのダンスに注目です。
Pikachu, I choose you… to take over vending machines in Japan!
If you’ve seen our articles on previous years’ Pikachu Outbreak events, you probably know that these lovable human-sized Pikachus are more than capable of standing around looking cute. This time, a mob of 30 Pikachus have wiggled and jiggled their way into Ito En’s vending machines, which will be making appearances, first in Yokohama from 9th August as a tie-up with the Pikachu Outbreak event, and subsequently all over Japan from mid-August.

今回はwiggleを取り上げます。jiggleと共に用いられている点にも注目です。
『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版，大修館）で調べたところ、「（身体など）をぴくぴく小刻みに動かす」、「のがれる，避ける」などと載っておりました。Oxford Dictionary of English(Second Edition Reserved, Oxford University Press)によると、 “move or cause to move up and down or from side to side with small rapid movements”とのことでした。
jiggleは上記英和辞典に、「左右（上下）に急速に動かす」などと書かれておりました。以上からピカチュウの可愛らしいダンスを表していることが分かります。また二つの単語の意味と音をかけていることもポイントと言えます。（Gomez）
