The holiday celebrating the signing of the Declaration of Independence falls on a Tuesday this year, which may give you an extra-long weekend to enjoy. If you’re looking for something to fill the time before the big fireworks show, we’ve rounded up five appropriately-themed movies for the holiday.

気になった表現は“binge-watch”です。
Urban Dictionaryでは“Watching a TV series in like a week with multiple seasons, and getting little to no sleep.”と定義されています。
“binge”を『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版、大修館書店）で引くと「度を超すこと；飲み過ぎ、酒盛り」とあり、ただ観るのではなく「一気に見る」となることがわかりました。
他に“binge”の表現として「がぶ飲みをする人」“binge-drinker”、「酒のがぶ飲み」“binge-drinking”、「過食症による過食」“binge-eating”があります。
独立記念日はパレード、バーベキュー、花火が定番だそうで、文字通り“go on a binge”（どんちゃん騒ぎをする）ようです。(flying bird)
