Brave explorers go inside creepy abandoned theme park in Japan

Why is it that amusement parks seem more appealing when they're been laying in disrepair for years?

Is it that people would rather risk contracting tetanus or being attacked by a feral goat living in the park than battle the crowds of screaming children and stressed, sweaty parents?

Or is it just that abandoned parks simply make for better photos?

　今回はtetanus /ˈtɛt(ə)nəs/ を調べました。

Oxford Dictionary of English (Second Edition Reserved, Oxford University Press)によると、 “a bacterial disease marked by rigidity and spasms of the voluntary muscles.”と　“the prolonged contraction of a muscle caused by rapidly repeated stimuli”の二つの定義が載っておりました。

　『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版，大修館）で調べたところ、「破傷風；破傷風強直（lockjaw）
」、「強直性痙攣」と書かれておりました。

　ちなみに「破傷風にかかる」は、 “get tetanus”や “catch tetanus”と簡単に表すことができます。

ご存知かとは思いますが、北里柴三郎が破傷風菌の培養に成功し（明治22年）、血清療法を研究したとのことです。今ではワクチンなどがありますが、死に至る恐ろしい病気です。（Gomez）
