Lego-themed outdoor park nearly ready to welcome visitors
NAGOYA--Legoland Japan, the first such attraction in this country, was literally built brick by brick.
The outdoor park themed on Lego, the toy building bricks of Danish origin, was shown to the media here March 17 prior to its April 1 opening.
The park, located in Nagoya’s Minato Ward, has more than 40 attractions on the nine-hectare site, which uses a total of 17 million bricks. Of the attractions, camels and elephants attracted particular interest.

取り上げるのは“brick by brick”です。『ジーニアス英和辞典』（第五版、大修館書店）では「少しずつ」とありました。Oxford Living Dictionariesには“A little bit a time”と定義されています。
このテーマパークは7つのエリアに分かれており、「ミニランド」という日本国内の有名な建物などを再現した場所では10,496,352個ものブロックが使われています。
