bookmark先輩と話題がかぶりました。ラスベガスで開催された「第６４回ミス・ユニバース世界大会」で、司会者が番組進行のカードを読み間違え、誤発表するというハプニングがあった。司会者は謝罪文をTwitterに載せましたが、そこでも間違えた記載があったということです。

Just minutes after the flub, Harvey took to Twitter to once again apologize.
"I want to apologize emphatically to Miss Philippians (sic) and Miss Columbia (sic). This was a terribly honest human mistake and I am so regretful," the now deleted tweet read.
A few minutes later, Harvey returned to Twitter with a corrected tweet.

"sic"を取り上げます。『ジーニアス英和辞典(大修館書店)』によると、副詞で「原文のまま」とありました。誤りや疑いのある原文をそのまま引用した場合に、その原文の後に(sic)と記すそうです。日本語の校正記号では（ママ）と表記すると先生に教わりました。
読み間違えたことに関して、日本でもドラフト会議で同じようなことが起きたことを思い出しました。(lua)
