記事の中で気になった表現は"collateral damage"です。『Wisdom英和辞典第三版』（三省堂）によると「付随的損害;（軍事行動による）巻き添え被害[損害], 民間人への被害」などという意味がありました。以前"collateral"を取り上げた時に，tempus fugit様からもご教授頂きましたが，今回のような国際情勢関連の記事でこの表現が登場いたしました。アーノルド・シュワルツネッガー主演の"Collateral Damage"というタイトルの映画もあります。（Ume）
