今回気になったのは、”put A on the back burner”です。『ジーニアス英和辞典（大修館書店）』によると,「A を後回しにする」という意味がありました。Back をfront に変えれば、最優先にという意味になります。（lua）
以前にも先輩方が取りあげておられ、比喩的な意味もあるのだなとわかり、参考になりました。
