厚生労働省は飲食店などで豚の生レバーを提供することを禁止した模様です。

The health ministry’s plan to ban restaurants from serving raw pork, including liver and other internal organs, was approved at an advisory panel sectional meeting on Wednesday.

With the approval from the Pharmaceutical Affairs and Food Sanitation Council, the ministry will move on to revise the current food standards, set under the food sanitation law, to require restaurants from mid-June to cook pork and internal organs over high heat, officials said.

記事を読んで気になったのは“sanitation”です。“sanitation”は「公衆衛生;下水［ごみ］処理;衛生設備」とありました。「『リーダーズ英和辞典第二版』研究社」また、LDOCEには“the protection of public health by removing and treating waste, dirty water etc.”と記されています。そして、“the food sanitation law”は食品衛生法となるでしょう。
記事は「薬事・食品衛生審議会においての承認に伴い、厚生労働省は食品衛生法に基づく現行の食品基準を改定する。そして6月中旬から十分火を通して豚肉を調理することを飲食店に義務付ける」と伝えています。（faith）
