今回取り上げるのは、”signage”という単語です。『ジーニアス英和辞典G4 大修館書店』で調べると、「〔グラフィックデザイン化された〕指示・警告の記号類」と載っていました。今回の場合では、見出しにある”signboard”と同じ「案内板」を意味しています。
さらに『weblio英和辞典』によると、”signage”には「商業用の標識（ポスターやポップ）」という意味もあるそうです。(ninetails)
