今回取り上げるのは、“posthumously"です。“posthumously”は「［通例限定］死後の」という意味です。（『ジーニアス第四版』大修館書店）他にも、LDOCEには“coming after one's death”と明記されていました。形容詞である“posthumous”を調べてみると“A posthumous collection of her work has just been published.”という用例もありました。（Weblio 英和辞典）
現在、各国と幅広く外交を行なっている安倍首相よりも崩御なさった昭和天皇の知名度が高いことにとても驚きました。（faith）
