Good morning on this chilly Tuesday.
Snow is coming this afternoon.
While you’re stuck slogging through endless winter, for a bunch of New Yorkers, spring has arrived.
They are baseball players.
Today in Florida, the Yankees play their first spring training game. The Mets open on Wednesday (not Friday, as we reported earlier).
Each team finds attention focused on one player.
The Yankee is Alex Rodriguez, returning after a yearlong doping suspension at age 40 to a team saddled with his $21 million salary.
For the Mets, it’s their pitching ace, Matt Harvey, who was out last year after undergoing arm surgery.
