Discounted Aston Martins for Singapore apartment buyers
Reductions on Aston Martin sports cars are being offered by the developers of a prestigious new apartment building in Singapore to entice buyers.
The British-manufactured cars, made famous around the world by the James Bond films, come with a heavy discount for buyers of three-bedroom apartments and penthouses at V on Shenton in the heart of the city centre.
There are six Aston Martin models for homebuyers to choose from including the newly launched V12 Vantage S and Vanquish. While the V12 Vantage costs around £140,000 pounds in Britain, in Singapore the full price is close to S$1million (about £480,000) as cars are heavily taxed.
There are 510 units at the 53-storey V on Shenton, with guide prices in the region of S$3 million for a three-bedroom flat (about £1.42 million) and S$10.3 million for a penthouse (about £4.8 million).
The tie-up was launched to celebrate Aston Martin’s 20th anniversary in Singapore. Those invited to view the plush apartments, which are a short stroll from the famous Raffles Hotel, were eligible to take an Aston Martin for a test drive around the financial district.
