The Independent からです。ロンドンのウォータールー橋にて、3人が銃を発砲した疑いで逮捕されました。
drive-by shootingは、過去の記事中でも触れられていますので、復習となります。（cf. drive-by data collection - 田邉祐司ゼミ 常時英心：言葉の森から）早速手持ちの辞書を引いて確認してみますと「走行中の車からの(発砲)( drive-by shooting [killing] 」（『Wisdom英和辞典(第3版)』三省堂)となります。Oxford Dictionaries Onlineも参照してみますと’ (of a shooting or other act) carried out from a passing vehicle’と説明がありました。以上確認程度でした。（Shou-VR*）

Car believed to have been shot at by someone on a motorcycle, say police
Three men have been arrested after a suspected drive-by shooting on the southbound approach to London's Waterloo Bridge.
The bridge's southbound carriageway was closed for a number of hours following the incident at around 8pm last night, but has since reopened.
