A new gadget released by NTT Docomo might be the answer to your prayers, as the high-tech dog collar will allow you to monitor your pet’s location and health concerns like sleep and “exercise.”
Called the “Petfit”, the tag is attached to the dog collar and contains a satellite positioning system that will send information to your smartphone to let you know whether your pet is sleeping, walking or running. The information contains relevant information like how many minutes or hours your dog is sleeping and if it is getting enough rest. It also shows how many steps your pet has taken and consequently, how many calories it has burned when doing its activities. In addition, it can determine the ambient temperature of where your pet is.
