After Tiger Woods won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday, posting a -15 for the tournament, he shared a celebratory moment with his son, Charlie.
Woods has kept his family out of the spotlight in the aftermath of his messy divorce from Elin Nordegren and the media attention that surrounded it. By winning this tournament, however, and celebrating with his son in front of the cameras, it seems that Woods is taking his first tentative steps in allowing the public to get a glimpse of him as a family man and as a father.

aftermathは「余波」「結果」という意味ですが（『ジーニアス英和辞典　第４版』大修館）、ほかにもafter-effectやbackwashなどで表現できるようです。今回はもちろん、あの離婚騒動の余波のことを指しています。

タイガー・ウッズ選手が前妻のエリンさんとの間に生まれた、４歳になったチャーリーくんを抱えながらアテスト小屋へと向かう姿が記事になっていました。２位に７打差をつけて優勝しましたが、最近昔のように強いタイガー選手が戻ってきたような気がします。（Haramii）
