わたしも子どものころにたんぼでどろどろになって遊んだ記憶があります。はしゃいでふざけ騒ぐ、飛んだり跳ねたりすることをfrolicというのですね。以前、先生に教えていただいたPuff, the magic dragonの歌詞にあったfrolicとは違うのでしょうか。（Haramii）

Children frolic in muddy paddy field

Young children in Okinawa, southwestern Japan, are beating the summer heat in a unique way -- frolicking in a muddy paddy field.

Around 300 local preschoolers and their parents gathered in a paddy field irrigated for rice planting in Nago City.



Before stepping into it, children listened to stories how farmers used to stamp paddy fields so that they could have a good harvest.

Then the children wasted no time in entering the flooded paddy field.
