produceときくと「生産する」だけを思い出してしまいますが，単に「なにかを取り出す」（if you produce an object, you bring it out or present it, so that people can see or consider it:）という意味も忘れてはいけませんね。
学期末に向かって最近はブログを続けるという単純なことすら滞りがちで反省しています。自分自身のために決めたことは続けて行こうと思います。（Nat）
Knife-wielding intruder arrested at Shiga school
Police on Monday arrested a man after he entered the grounds of a school in Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture, and brandished a knife.
According to police, the man, identified as Tsuyoshi Nagamine, 45, entered Moriyama Minami Junior High School at around 8:30 a.m., TBS reported. The man approached a teacher and demanded to see a certain student and also asked for the student's phone number. When the teacher refused, the man unwrapped a towel and produced a knife.
Nagamine was quickly restrained by police who were already on the scene.
