ここで気になったのはupscaleという表現です。これは《主に米略式》でup-marketと同じ意味、つまり、「上流階級向けの、高級な」「上流階級向けに」という意味を表します。（『ジーニアス英和辞典　第４版』大修館書店）LDOCEには次のように定義されていました。”American English. relating to people from a high social class who have a lot of money [= upmarket British English]an affluent upscale audience”
