パナソニックの子会社が贈賄の疑いで調査されています。記事の中のsubpoenaは、「（罰則付き）召喚状、呼び出し状」のことです。（『ジーニアス英和辞典　第４版』大修館）poenaはラテン語で「罰」を意味するそうで、類義語にsummonsがありますが、subpoenaに対してこちらは従わなくても罰則がないようです。恥ずかしながら司法関係の単語が全くインプットされていなかったため、これからはこういった単語にも目を向けていきたいと思います。（Haramii）
