The crash and attacks happened at the ABC Store in front of the Outrigger Guam Resort.

Ashley Quichocho, 18, of Dededo, was at the Jungle Java Cafe, inside the Outrigger entrance, with her friends and cousins when she saw the car barrel past the hotel's driveway.

She said she ran outside to see what has happening and saw that a vehicle had crashed in front of the ABC Store.

She said she saw a man get out of the car, run to bystanders and start stabbing them with a knife.
"He started stabbing someone and I started freaking out. He was just running back and forth stabbing people," she said.

Quichocho ran from the scene back into the hotel. She and other people in the hotel fled to the second floor to escape the suspect.

Witnesses at the scene said they saw the car drive through the front sidewalk of The Plaza shopping center, starting near the Globe nightclub, before it crashed into the front of the ABC Store. The hotel is part of the shopping center complex.
