flip the bird

(GP)

"Did you just say that to me?": Watch judge jail stroppy teenager after she swears and 'flips the bird'

A judge jailed a teenager after she swore at him in court - and then 'flipped the bird'. Penelope Soto, 18, appeared before Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat in Miami after being arrested on a drugs charge.
Soto got off to a bad start when she angered him by laughing off his questions about her finances.

Rodriguez-Chomat said: "We're not in a club, be serious about it." But as she left the court with her bond set at $5,000 Soto giggled, waved and said "adios", which infuriated the judge further. He called her back and doubled her bond - at which point a shocked Soto became a lot more troubled by the proceedings.

Turning away in disgust, she raised her middle finger and blurted "f*** you". But Rodriguez-Chomat called her back again, saying: "Did you just say that to me?" He then sentenced her to 30 days in prison for contempt of court.
