bourseは元々はパリの証券取引所を表すことばでしたが、この記事のように今では世界各地の証券取引の場所を指すようになりました。語源はpurse、つまり、お財布です。実はこの単語、授業の小ネタとして高校のときに先生から教わりました。今でも覚えているのというのは不思議です。懐かしのあまり書いてしまいました。（UG）

Tokyo bourse 'widens insider trading probe'

TOKYO (AFP) —
Tokyo’s bourse will search the offices of dozens of brokerage houses as part of a widening crackdown on insider trading, a report said Thursday, as lawmakers eye tough new rules to curb the practice.

Japan’s biggest daily, the Yomiuri Shimbun, said the Tokyo Stock Exchange planned to inspect about 50 investment firms to help restore investor confidence after a string of scandals involving the leak of market-sensitive information.
