北朝鮮のreclusive leader Kim Jong-ilが訪中したと伝えられたのはつい先日（両政府とも公式には認めていない。でもNHKは「将軍様」の姿をとらえていました...）。それを伝えるロイター電とブログからです。ふたつの英文に使われているplane-shyとは何〜？何か恥ずかしいのかな。3年生がいいな。（UG）

BEIJING (Reuters) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, on a secrecy-shrouded trip to China that has drawn criticism from South Korea and Chinese web users, apparently left his state guesthouse lodgings on Thursday to make a trip to the Great Wall.

Kim was thought to be visiting the Great Wall after a motorcade resembling the one he travels in swept out of the state guesthouse where he is lodged.
Traffic radio announced a shutdown of the motorway to Badaling, a restored part of the Great Wall that is a favourite destination for foreign dignitaries -- including Richard Nixon, over three decades ago.
Motorways have been closed in recent days along the route of Kim's visit, as his armoured train and long motorcade swept down towards Beijing. The plane-shy leader only travels by land.
