気になったのは unimpeded /ʌnɪmpíːdɪd/ です。un+impedeのかたちなので、まず『ジーニアス英和辞典』でimpedeを調べると「〈活動・進行など〉を遅らせる(delay)，邪魔する(prevent)」とあります。そこから予測できますがunimpeded は「障害のない，邪魔されていない」と記載されていました。
