気になったのはmenial /ˈmiːniəl/ です。文脈から、「簡単な」であると推測しました。

『ジーニアス英和辞典』(第五版、大修館書店)には「(仕事などが)つまらない、熟練のいらない、(賃金の低い)雑用の、雑用人、小間使い」とあります。また、LDOCEでは “menial work is boring, needs no skill, and is not important” “someone who does menial work, especially a servant in a house” と説明されています。goo辞書をみると、中期英語のmeynyalに由来していることが分かります。

過去においては、三菱自動車や日産自動車でも同様の不正が発覚しています。一体何が行われていたのかはっきりさせるためにも、実習状況を監査する「監理団体」で適正な監査が行われていたかどうかの調査が必要となります。(seventh-dan)
